Fresh from the first BSB race victory of his career, Luke Mossey is ready to push on at Oulton Park this weekend.

After getting an amazing first race victory in race one at Brands Hatch Indy on 17 April, Mossey went on to win race two, making it a double victory weekend.

Going to Oulton Park after a successful testing session on Thursday 20 April, Mossey is ready to keep challenging at the top of the championship.

Speaking after testing, Mossey said: To get two wins in one weekend was amazing and testing has gone really well here at Oulton Park. We’ve got a strong base setting, which should set us up for a good weekend.”

Placed second in the championship standings after two race weekends, Mossey is only five points behind current leader and team mate Leon Haslam.

The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider still has the same goals as when the season started, even though his season so far has been better than expected.

Mossey said: “The aim is to keep racking up points and hopefully get some more wins, and ultimately make the showdown at the end of the season. I want to finish this weekend’s racing and go into the break second in the championship.”

Now with his first race victory under his belt, Mossey no longer has to focus on getting over that hurdle in this competitive championship.

A jubilant Mossey said: “I feel a lot more relaxed now after getting my two wins last weekend and it feels like a massive weight off my shoulders. The team was really happy and we can’t wait for the next race now.”

All eyes will be focused on Mossey when he travels to Cheshire to see if he has what it takes to continue his fine start to the 2017 season.
