Luke Mossey showed his pace ahead of the start of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike season, finishing P4 in the final test session at Silverstone before the flag drops in two weeks.

With a wet start to the day and plenty of media duties to attend to, Mossey and his 2019 pit crew of Johnny Gill, Pete Gill and Jon-Boy Lee worked through a number of set up changes during the morning sessions from the warmth of the pitlane. Plenty of BSB fans huddled in the OMG garage out of the rain, eager to grab a sneak peek at the newly liveried 2019 Suzuki.

After limited running in the morning sessions due to the weather, Mossey stepped out in his new leathers and proceeded to follow on from where he left off at European testing, jumping to the top of the timesheets. Once the chequered flag fell to close the day, Luke finished with a fantastic P4 with OMG Suzuki team-mate Josh Elliott close behind in P7. With less than one second separating the top 16 riders, it’s safe to say it’s going to be a close season.

Luke Mossey – OMG Racing Suzuki – #12

“I had a really good test at Silverstone, I feel like I’m getting more and more comfy on the bike every time I sit on it. We found out quite a lot a week about what direction to go with set-up and I’m really happy with the progress we’ve made. I feel like we’re at a really good starting point going into the first round next weekend.”

Mossey returns to Silverstone next weekend (19-21 April) for Round One of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship where he will line up for the first time on the OMG Racing Suzuki, you can purchase weekend or day tickets here.
