BSB Championship rider, Luke Mossey, is fully committed to turning his season around and securing a podium finish at the triple header weekend at Silverstone on 7-9 September.
The rider’s recent point-scoring races at Cadwell Park last month saw the start of him rebuilding his season. He now wants to see this through with a strong finish, turning his focus next to the circuit that straddles both Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
Speaking ahead of the three-race weekend, Mossey said: “I’m really looking forward to racing at Silverstone. It’s been a tough year, but the final four rounds are at tracks that I like and that really suit my riding style.”
Silverstone is not known as an overly physical track, but the riders will certainly be tested. The race will take place on the 1.64 mile National Circuit, and with a lap time estimated to be less than 55 seconds, it will be one of the most exciting races of the year.
With Silverstone being a triple header,it means an extra chance to pick up important points, which would really boost Mossey’s confidence going into the final few races of the 2018 season. “The team has been working really hard and we deserve a bit of luck. I feel this weekend is where I can get back on the podium and start turning the season around,” explained Mossey.
Even though it has been a tough season for Mossey, he is quick to thank his fans for their endless support, concluding: “Thanks to everyone for their continued support and for backing me. Let’s go racing!”
It looks set to be another weekend jam-packed full of action – and, if Mossey can pick up a podium, it could be something special.
