Luke Mossey is looking to build on his opening weekend success when he races at Brands Hatch on 15 – 17 April in the second race of the championship.
Mossey had a fantastic start to his season, finishing the races in second and fifth respectively, which was enough to see him second on the championship leaderboard.
After reflecting on the racing at round one, Mossey said: “Our opening weekend was perfect and it feels great to have got the first race of the season out of the way.
“We did everything right from the start and got the set-up of the bike perfect, which showed as we were on the pace throughout.”
The next race of the BSB season will take place on the shorter Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch, Mossey’s local track, and he’ll be hoping to take advantage of his knowledge of the circuit.
“I’m really looking forward to going back to Brands, it’s my home track and we were on pole position there last season.
“We’ll be setting the bike up the same as at Donington Park and hoping for more success,” said Mossey.
Mossey’s JG Speedfit Kawasaki team had a fine start to the BSB season by securing a one-two in the Championship, with Mossey’s teammate Leon Haslam taking top spot.
“The team was really pleased with our performances and being first and second on the championship standings. It was Leon’s local track and he rode well,” said Mossey.
Concentration for Mossey is now firmly set on Brands Hatch, with his aim to continue on from where he left off.
