Luke Mossey is raring to race at Knockhill this weekend with only one focus on his mind, a win.

After the recent BSB calendar break, Mossey has had time to reflect on his successful start to the season and itching to get back on the track and battle for the top spot on the podium.

Speaking ahead of the fourth round of the BSB season in Scotland, Mossey said: “I had a really good time off, but by the time testing came around at Snetterton last Wednesday I just wanted to get racing again.”

Mossey currently sits second in the Championship standings, only three points behind JG Speedfit Kawasaki teammate, Leon Haslam. A win is the main aim for Mossey this weekend and he has previous history on the Knockhill track.

“I gained my first podium in BSB here last season, with a third in race one and when I was racing in British Supersport I won here, so it’s a track I like and have good memories of,” said Mossey.

Official testing took place at Snetterton, Norfolk, last Wednesday giving Mossey and JG Speedfit Kawasaki the opportunity to get some time on the track.

After testing Mossey said: “It was really windy out on the track, some of the worst conditions I’ve rode in for years. But, it was a great opportunity to get comfortable on the bike again and have a ride around ready for Knockhill.”

Mossey will want to continue to put pressure on those at the top of the Championship by getting off to a good start in Qualifying and race one this weekend.
